‘Purple Horse’ is a reproduction of Henri Matisse’s famous cut-out artwork ‘The horse, the rider and the clown’ from 1947. Admired at Tate Modern. Gifted to my ex.
During my London period, Tate Modern was my preferred place to be. I lived on Bermondsey Square, near the Shard and the Southbank of the river Themes. Tate Modern was nearby. I got a membership and spent many great moments there. Sometimes when feeling blue, I would visit one of the many (free!) art galleries & museums which London has to offer and my mood lifted instantly. Being surrounded by all those great artists just makes one happy !
