Chakras – seven energy centres in the human body. The concept of Chakras originates from ancient Indian traditions (particularly from Hinduism and Buddhism) and involves an association of each centre with a specific physical, emotional, and spiritual aspect of life.
Each Chakra – as a centre of spiritual power – corresponds to a specific body organ. The aim (for an energetic well-being) is to keep all chakras being open, aligned and balanced.
My ‘Charlotte’ visualises the energy fields by (typically with the Chakras associated) colours and symbols:
Root Chakra (Muladhara – Red): Located at the base of the spine – associated with survival, grounding, and physical identity.
Sacral Chakra (Svadhisthana – Orange): Below the navel – associated with creativity, sexuality, and emotional identity.
Solar Plexus Chakra (Manipura – Yellow): In the stomach area – associated with personal power, confidence, and self-esteem.
Heart Chakra (Anahata – Green): In the centre of the chest – associated with love, compassion, and emotional balance.
Throat Chakra (Vishuddha – Blue): At the throat – associated with communication, expression, and truth.
Third Eye Chakra (Ajna – Indigo): Between the eyebrows – associated with intuition, perception, and inner wisdom.
Crown Chakra (Sahasrara – Purple): At the top of the head – associated with spiritual connection and enlightenment.
