A little quote for Valentines Day to remind us that we should not only celebrate romantic love but also the universal love towards our family and friends and especially towards OUR SELVES and OUR LIVES. To be grateful for everything we have and to enjoy our lives fully!
You don’t have a date for the 14th of February? Organize a baking evening with your girlfriends (cupcakes & margaritas?), have a nice solo walk through the streets of your city, play with your puppy, get a facial (or a head massage), read a good book, have a bubble bath with a glass of Prosecco and some expensive chocolates, call your relatives, meditate, write a journal, buy yourself fresh flowers, prepare your favorite meal, have a GOOD bottle of wine, drive or bike outside of town, rent a fancy hotel room with sea view, volunteer, do something creative (you are not a talented painter? buy some coloring books or create a collage out of newspaper pictures – maybe even a visualization board of your dreams?), play loud music or go to a concert, go to an opera with your aunty, go shopping with your best gay friend, play with your niece, be close to nature (no beach or forest nearby? lay on the lawn in your local park), hug a tree, visit an art gallery, write a list of things you like about yourself, about your lifeβ¦BE HAPPY. FEEL LOVE.
