‘Gaia – The Origin’. Today I would love to share a video of a digital ART exhibition to honour Mother Earth.
Who is Gaia? She is the ancestral mother of all life. In Greek mythology she is the personification of the Earth. Her equivalent in the Roman pantheon was Terra.
Goddess, Mother Nature, Madre Tierra. She might have different names but in the essence she means CREATION. For me, she represents fertility, spirituality, femininity. The power of love. The source & essence of life.
The feminie self-expression is essential for my art. I love to evoke emotions. Touch the soul. How not to paint Gaia?!
My own interpretation of Gaia – the Creation
Meet ‘Lust’ and ‘TreeWoman’. My two participating ladies.
There is something about female energy that attracts my attention. I like to speak through my ‘ladies’. To tell stories. Observing the energy of the women in my life (and my own, of course), I’m trying to capture and express our own emotions in my paintings: Passion, loneliness, confidence, confusion, sensuality, strength, vulnerability…
I am quite spiritual. Connection with nature and with myself (and my inner Goddess) is important to me. I’m also someone who loves to wander and discover this beautiful world. That’s why, in my paintings I’m trying to pay an homage to the Creation (of this wonderful planet).
To participate in the Gaia exhibition felt like a call of nature. Gaia The Origin is my first digital art exhibition.
Meet the contemporary, digital art gallery M.A.D.S.
Art Mediator, Advisor, Dealer, Seeker. This art space in Milano is set up with screens, aimed to create multimedia exhibitions with the use of new video system projection technologies.
M.A.D.S. did a great job to create this cool and interactive art gallery. The exhibition is entirely digital. Displayed on large TV screens, the artworks can be touched and zoomed in. Innovative and forward thinking. Especially in times like now…
Artists can send in a digitised version of their artworks. There is no need to ship paintings to the location. I like that. Then the art curators take the lead. They are very professional and guide you through the process.
I’m very happy to have been invited to take part in this journey! A big thanks and hugs to ‘my’ art curator Erika Gravante.
