Soon I’m taking off again – this time to Hong Kong (as a longer stop over) and Taiwan (as a little excursion) with the final destination of New Zealand. Thinking of a long haul flight what comes to your mind? Do you have mental images of the little (mute) fight with your seat neighbour for the space on the shared chair arm? I do… Do you sometimes wonder why someone sitting next to you has to read his or her newspaper the way that the page is directly in front of your nose taking all your personal space? I do… Do you sometimes wish there was a button where you could ‘delete’ your neighbour? I do…
And Christoph Niemann does too..
When I found this hilarious article by the German illustrator and author about his flight from New York to Berlin I had a really good laugh. Christoph lives in New York and writes – among others – for the New York Times and The New Yorker. He illustrates his flight experience in little sketches with funny comments. I would like to share his article with you. Please have a look. Enjoy!
